Construction of New Churches

Building a Foundation of Faith in Central Congo

In the heart of Central Congo, the need for new places of worship is growing every day. Paul and Marty are honored to be part of this inspiring mission, where they help build churches that become vibrant centers of faith and community.

The excitement surrounding each new church is palpable. As soon as a church is completed, it’s filled with people eager to worship and connect with one another. Every new building site starts with the clearing of land and the careful laying of the foundation, a process that begins with prayer and a symbolic “cornerstone,” infusing the construction with hope and dedication.

Once the main structure is in place and the roof is up, worship services begin—even before walls, floors, windows, and doors are fully completed. This early use transforms each site into an immediate gathering space, where the unfinished walls are filled with the sounds of praise and fellowship.

Building in remote areas comes with challenges, especially in transporting materials. However, thanks to our portable sawmill, we can provide lumber locally, minimizing costs and making efficient use of resources. We also press our own bricks with high-quality equipment, ensuring that each church is built to stand for many years as a welcoming place of worship and spiritual growth.

Each church built is more than just a structure; it’s a beacon of hope and a testament to God’s love. The impact of these buildings resonates deeply as they serve as gathering points where people can encounter Jesus Christ, worship together, and find support in their faith journey. We are grateful for every partner and prayer that makes this mission possible. Together, we are building not only churches but also a stronger, faith-filled community in Central Congo.
