Paul’s New “Toy”!
This is a rebuilt truck with a new well drilling rig from South Africa. This was made possible through a donation from a Foundation in Kinshasa for our work in central Congo. We could write a book about the woes of the truck’s five month LATE delivery which caused it to arrive in the height of the rainy season. It has had to travel 2,273 kilometers from Lubumbashi (way south of us) to Lodja going through 40 kilometers of nothing but mud to the portion of road where the truck laid over on its side causing some major damage. After 4 1/2 weeks it finally arrived at Lodja. In the States this trip would have taken perhaps three to four days at the most. But we are NOT in the States!
