October 2012

It is a thrill to be back home in Lodja with the container unloaded onto our “African Queen” and leaving Kinshasa tomorrow morning for the trip upriver. It will take them several weeks if all goes well, which it rarely does, but hope springs eternal and this might just be the time it does.

Here at Lodja, Marty has found her children’s ministry going full speed with one of the groups having gone over 400 children one of the weeks. That is too many to try to manage, but she hates to turn any of the children away.

The Lodja water project is moving forward with the dam approaching completion and the hydram rebuilt and ready to install when the new base has set up. We are hopeful that we can have water pumping up to the station before the end of November!

Thank you for all your prayers and support that make this all possible.

Your Partners in Congo,
Paul and Marty
